First Folio! The Book that Gave Us Shakespeare, is a national traveling exhibit from the Folger Shakespeare Library and part of the Wonder of Will celebration of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death. Find out more about the exhibits and special events at the Folger's Wonder of Will website.
The First Folio has left Alaska, and the related events are over, but you can still enjoy some of them! The four lectures were videoconferenced and recorded. You can find them on OWL's YouTube channel.
First Folio! The Book that Gave Us Shakespeare, on tour from the Folger Shakespeare Library, is made possible in part by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and by the support of Google.org, Vinton and Sigrid Cerf, the British Council, Stuart and Mimi Rose, and other generous donors. It is produced in association with the American Library Association and the Cincinnati Museum Center.
