Do You Need Alternate Versions of Publications? We invite you to contact us with your questions, concerns or to inform us about accessibility issues. For text-only or alternate versions of materials hosted on the department’s websites, please provide the web address for the exact item needed and a brief description of the resource being requested.
If you are a person with a disability and plan to visit a LAM facility, participate in one of our webinars or videoconferences, or use our other programs or services, we encourage you to contact us in advance to arrange for accommodations, such as a wheelchair, guide, or sign language interpreter. Some accommodations may take many days to arrange, so please try to contact us as soon as you know of your visit.
Both the Sheldon Jackson Museum in Sitka and the Father Andrew P. Kashevaroff Building in Juneau are wheelchair accessible. In Juneau, wheelchair ramps exist for visitors at the main entrance on Whittier and for staff at the entrance on Willoughby near the loading dock. Parking for visitors with disabilities is available in the parking garage; the entrance to the parking garage is on Whittier St.
