Companion guide to a quarterly videoconference series on e-government presented by Alaska State Library Staff.

March 2017 - Tax Information Online from the IRS

Resources from the first videoconference in our series, Tax Information Online from the IRS.

Computer Not Practical?

While the IRS heavily pushes their online services, we understand that patrons with limited connectivity at home or at the library may find using difficult. So we've gathered a few phone numbers. Be aware that the hold times are long, especially in the last month or so before April 15th. Also, while you can order tax forms by phone, they may take several weeks to reach you.

IRS assistance center phone numbers for:

  • Individuals: 800-829-1040
  • Businesses: 800-829-4933
  • People with hearing impairments: 800-829-4059 (TDD)
  • Ordering forms and publications: 1-800-829-3676
