Join us at the Sheldon Jackson Museum Sat. Jan. 12th at 2pm for a screening of the film “Lineage: Tlingit Art Across Generations.” This free event is sponsored by the Friends of Sheldon Jackson Museum. Join us for this 1-hour documentary film, a collaboration between KTOO Public Media, 360 North public television and Tlingit poet and storyteller Ishmael Hope. Lineage explores the artistic lineage of many Tlingit culture bearers, including weavers, carvers, bead artists, musicians and more.
The Sheldon Jackson Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am until 4pm. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and free for children 18 and under and Friends of Sheldon Jackson Museum members and Alaska State Museum pass holders.
