Patrons of man Alaska Libraries can check out eBooks, audiobooks on many different topics. For work-related books, do a search on your general topic, then limit results to nonfiction. For example, accounting, environmental sciences, computer technology, etc.
This catalog contains records for and links to Federal Government digital publications that are formatted specifically to be used with an eBook device or eBook reader software. GPO archives free eBook files found on public Federal Government websites and provides permanent public access to the content.
Patrons of some Alaska Libraries can check out eBooks, audiobooks and music in formats for nearly all devices from ListenAlaska. If you live in an area without a library, you may be able to gain access to ListenAlaska through Regional Services.
Includes about 3 million classic and "modern" books in BookReader, PDF and ePub formats (and Daisy for the print disabled). The classic collection offers even more formats. Users must set up a free account. Only one patron can check out a book at a time from the modern collection.
