Connecting Museums with Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Museums are destinations. Museums are educational centers. Museums are community leaders. Museums are vehicles for change. For these reasons, Alaska museums are logical places for electric vehicle charging stations.

Through a new partnership with the Alaska Electric Vehicle Association, museums can access expertise and funding to install Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations [PDF 2 MB].

About the Partnership

The Alaska State Museum’s Office of Statewide Services assists with the development of museums across Alaska. We work to connect Alaska museums with resources, with one another, and with new ways to meet the needs of Alaskans. The Alaska Electric Vehicle Association is an Alaska-based non-profit dedicated to EV advocacy and education.

The vision of this partnership is to connect Alaska museums through a network of EV charging stations.
