Juneau – The Alaska State Museum has issued thirteen grants as part of its annual Grant-in-Aid program. The Alaska State Museum issued grants to the following organizations:
Alaska Aviation Museum, Anchorage, for an Archives Technician
Alutiiq Museum, Kodiak, for collections management
Anchorage Museum, Anchorage, for a summer intern
Cordova Historical Society and Museum, Cordova, for collections organization
Fairbanks Children’s Museum, Fairbanks, for the creation of an infant play space
Haines Sheldon Museum, Haines, for an intern
Juneau-Douglas City Museum, Juneau, for the exhibit “An Untold Story: The Forced Removal and Relocation of Unangan People during World War II”
Kodiak History Museum, Kodiak, for a summer intern
Museum of Alaska Transportation and Industry, Wasilla, for a summer intern
Museums Alaska, statewide, for professional development training for museum staff
Oscar Anderson House, Anchorage, for a conservation assessment
Pioneer Air Museum, Fairbanks, for a summer intern
Talkeetna Historical Society, Talkeetna, for the design and fabrication of outdoor interpretive panels
