Juneau – The Kimball Organ in the State Office Building is Alaska’s last theater organ accessible to the public. The organ was built to accompany silent movies in the 1920s and is nearing its 100th birthday. Theater organs allow a solo organist to control an entire orchestra of instruments from a single console.
