The Alaska Division of Libraries, Archives, and Museums will be holding a voter registration drive on September 5, 2020, from noon to 4:00 p.m. in the Lecture Hall at the Andrew P. Kashevaroff Building, 395 Whittier. Three division staff members are voter registrars and will be present to answer questions about voter registration and take and deliver completed registration applications to the Division of Elections.

Applicants should bring identification, such as a driver’s license, state identification card, password, birth certificate, fishing or hunting license, or other current and valid photo ID.

There will be COVID-19 precautions in place including separate entry and exit ways, 6 foot spacing, masks, plexi-glass shields, and frequent cleaning.
Please follow these guidelines to ensure the safety of our community:

  • Wear a face covering.
  • Maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet between individuals and household groups.
  • Anyone, visitor or staff, displaying symptoms of COVID-19 may not enter the building.

A person experiencing a disability who needs accommodation for events hosted by the Alaska State Library, Archives, and Museums can contact the Division’s ADA coordinator a week in advance of the event at (907) 465-2912 to make any necessary arrangements.
