Alaska State Libraries, Archives & Museums to Close for Independence Day Holiday

JUNEAU – The Alaska Division of Libraries, Archives, & Museums, located in the Fr. Andrew P. Kashevaroff (APK) building, will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 in observance of Independence Day.

Summer hours will resume on Thursday, July 5, and are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with the museum galleries being open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.

The Alaska Division of Libraries, Archives, and Museums collects, organizes, preserves, and makes accessible materials that document the history of Alaska, provides access to government information for state agencies and other researchers, and promotes the development of libraries, archives, and museums statewide for the benefit of all Alaskans.
