Morning At Saxan Art Activity

Arts and crafts creation: eagle made of puff balls and feltThe Sheldon Jackson Museum will host an At Saxan Art Activity in which children ages 6-10 will make eagles and look for eagle crests in the artifacts in the gallery. The eagles will be made using foam, glue, and pompoms. At Saxan happens every third Saturday of the month in the fall, winter and spring and is family-friendly and free of charge. To register your child, call (907) 747-8981. This event is sponsored by the Friends of Sheldon Jackson Museum and is from 10-11am on Saturday, March 17th.

The Sheldon Jackson Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to noon and 1pm to 4:00pm with a lunch closure between noon and 1pm. During the winter, admission is $5 for general visitors, $4 for seniors, and free for ages 18 and under. However, admission will be waived for the At Saxan Art Activity.
