Through this program, staff at collecting institutions across Alaska can access training and coaching resources that will enhance our disaster preparedness and resiliency.

We are seeking original, first-person materials that document this pandemic – because Your Story is Our Story.

Through hands-on art activities designed and led by Alaskan artists, this program connects young people to artistic, historical, and cultural concepts inspired by the collections and exhibits of the Alaska State Library, Archives, and Museum.

The Alaska State Museum is partnering with the Alaska State Historic Preservation Office to offer a new grant opportunity for museums, cultural heritage organizations, and even individuals to apply for grants to support Maritime Heritage projects and share information about Alaska’s Maritime Heritage.
