Alaska Day Holiday
The Sheldon Jackson Museum will be closed on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in observance of the Alaska Day holiday. The museum is closed on observed state holidays.
Lunch Closure
The museum will be closed 11 am-12 pm on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 due to limited staffing. We occasionally close for lunch, so please call ahead if you plan on visiting between 11 and 12.
Winter Admission Rates
Discounted winter rates begin October 21. General Admission changes from $8 for adults / $7 for seniors to $7 for adults / $6 for seniors. Visitors 18 years of age and younger, Friends of Sheldon Jackson Museum, and those with passes are admitted free. Assistance is available for visitors with special needs.
Normal operating hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am-4 pm. Please contact Visitor Services at 907-747-8981 with any questions.
