State Museum Closed on Tuesday, January 18 for MLK Jr. Day; State Library and Archives closed Monday, January 17

Juneau – The Alaska State Libraries and Archives will be closed on Monday, January 17, and the Alaska State Museum will be closed on Tuesday, January 18 in observation of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The museum is currently on winter hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.  

Discounted winter museum admission rates are: adult $9; senior (65 & older) $8; all youth (18 years & younger), as well as Friends members and museum pass holders are free. Assistance is available for visitors with special needs. Please contact Visitor Services at 465-2901 before the visit.
