Work at the Alaska State Museum this Summer

Gallery positions available for the summer season

The Alaska State Museum is recruiting for summer gallery staff to answer visitor questions about Alaska’s history, cultures, landscapes, and art; assist visitors with wayfinding; and enforce museum rules. 

Required qualifications

• At least one year experience working a fast-paced front desk 
• At least six months experience using a point-of-sale device

Pay is $21.50 per hour.  Full-time summer positions & year-round on-call opportunities are available.
