The University of Alaska Fairbanks Alaska and Polar Regions Collections and Archives (APRCA) consists of several different collections, each with a focus on a different type of material. Alaska Native Language Archives (ANLA)

The Alaska Native Language Center's mission consists of "documenting, promoting, cultivating, and revitalizing Alaska Native languages and culture."  In keeping with this mission the many of the materials in the Alaska Native Language Archives are written or recorded in a variety of Alaska Native Languages such as Alutiiq/Sugpiaq, Athabascan languages, Eyak, Haida, Inupiaq, Tlingit, Tsimshian, Unangax̂, and Yupik languages. Items in the collection may be in one or more Alaska Native languages, English, or both.
