Renting Space at the APK

Fees

Rental fees for spaces at the Father Andrew P. Kashevaroff Building cover the actual costs associated with hosting an event or program. A 50% deposit is required prior to the event.

Atrium

During regular business hours

Private event rentals in the atrium cannot take place during regular business hours.

For public events:

  • $75 per hour
  • $100 per hour for set up / take down outside use period
  • $150 - $225 janitorial [determined by number in attendance]
  • $50 per hour security personnel
  • $100 facility personnel [flat fee]
  • $25 grand piano
  • $150 stage set up / take down

Outside regular business hours

  • $300 per hour
  • $100 per hour for set up / take down outside use period
  • $150 - $225 janitorial [determined by number in attendance]
  • $100 per hour security personnel [two security personnel required]
  • $200 per hour facility personnel
  • $25 grand piano
  • $150 stage set up / take down

Classroom

During regular business hours

  • $25 per hour

Outside regular business hours

** The classroom is not available as a single room rental outside of regular business hours. Classroom is available if the Lecture Hall or Atrium is rented. **

Lecture Hall

During regular business hours

  • $50 per hour
  • $50 per hour for set up / take down outside of use period
  • $150 - $225 janitorial [determined by number in attendance]

  • $150 stage set up / take down

Outside regular business hours

  • $100 per hour
  • $50 per hour for set up / take down outside use period
  • $150 - $225 janitorial [based on attendance and event activities]

  • $200 per hour for facility personnel

  • $150 stage set up / take down

Museum Galleries

During regular business hours (with rental of lecture hall, classroom, or atrium)

Renters may receive a discount on admission to the museum galleries for event participants during regular museum hours on the rental date. The discount is based on the current summer or winter rate.

  • Summer admission discount:
    • $12.00 per person (senior or adult)
    • Students 18 and under are free year-round
  • Winter admission discount:
    • $7.00 per person (senior or adult)
    • Students 18 and under are free year-round
  • Tours may be arranged for $60 an hour

Outside regular business hours (with rental of lecture hall or atrium)

Renters may request the museum galleries be included in the rental event for the following additional fees:

  • Admission fee: $12.00 per person (senior or adult). The museum will not open after hours for less than 25 people
  • $120 per hour for two museum protection and visitor services employees to open and staff the museum front desk and galleries
  • $60 per hour for special tours of the galleries

The above fees are charged in addition to the space rental fee for other areas of the facility, facility services fee, janitorial fee, and building security fees associated with the rental.
