Many Alaskan institutions hold aerial photographs. This guide lists collections of aerial photos publicly accessible at Alaskan libraries, archives, and museums. Collections are grouped by the holding institution listed on the left hand side of the page.
The collection consists of over 9,000 aerial photographs of Southeast Alaska taken between 1976 and 1998. Scales differ but are generally either 1:12,000 or 1:16,000. One set for Berners Bay (1987) has a scale of 1:80,000. Most photographs are color.
