The Federal Trade Commission has developed three self-paced tutorials that walk consumers through the basics of managing their money, credit. loans and debt and scams and identity theft. They have also developed a toolbox with training and presentation resources.

GCF Learnfree.org has developed a free tutorial that will help consumers learn how to create a budget, manage a checking account, and plant for their retirement.
Financial Literacy Education in Libraries: Guidelines and Best Practices for Service

Money As You Grow: Help for parents and caregivers
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has created an online resource with activities and conversation starters parents may use to introduce children to positive money habits, skills and attitudes.

Strenghening Libraries as Entrepreneurial Hubs Toolkit
The Urban Council of Libraries and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation have developed a toolkit designed to provide public library leaders with strategies and models that enhance entrepreneurial services.

A start-up kit and sample business plans are available from the Small Business Reference Center, a database available from the A-Z list found on the Statewide Library Electronic Doorway (SLED).
