Grants for Alaska Libraries and Schools

The Alaska State Library helps public and school libraries acquire financial assistance.

Continuing Education (CE) Grants and Professional Development (PD) grants

Grants for Public, Public/School, School, and Academic library staff for continuing education opportunities to help enhance their professional development.

CE and PD grants are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are available one per library outlet.  Grants are available until the grant funds allocated this fiscal year have been spent.

There are two (2) remaining joint conference CE grants available worth $1000.  If you are thinking of attending this August, please submit an application ASAP.

  • Both Far North CE grants are available.
