Use these resources to build a simple, easy to maintain, website for your library.

Introduction

This guide is aimed at small libraries that either do not have a web site or who wish to start over. It is divided into three parts:

1. Designing Your Website

This page contains resources that will help you decide your website is for and what it should do. Then you can start creating. 

2. Building Your Website

This page points to a couple of common tools to build websites and contains links to reviews of other options. 

3. Measuring Usage

Now that you have built your website, how do you know whether it is being used? And what, if anything is being done with it? By measuring usage! This page will suggest some metrics to use in deciding whether time spent on your web presence is worth the staff time and which might point to ways to make your website more useful.
